John has a strong disdain towards most female singers, mostly because he thinks they primarily get popular for just their looks. Taylor got that bill in John’s eyes, but it didn’t just stop there in his hatred for the blonde singer.

John’s opinion was her music was garbage & if it wasn’t for the material about her past relationships, she’d have nothing to write music about. He also felt strongly she was fake, a phony, a fraud. He had a thought that her whole “goody too shoes” reputation was just a front, that there was some unknown baggage that may ruin her reputation, if not career.
