Taxi

A woman, you remembered seeing her around on the VS plane, was waiting for you with a big dark coloured SUV, the typical ones you see bringing celebrities to red carpets.

You sat all on the back, since there was a driver too. The new face worked for VS as you thought, and immediately started to annoy your girl with all the show's timing deadlines. Ok, it was her job, but c'mon, it wasn't even 7 am yet, and she just got her butt on the seat, literally!

Adriana listened to everything for the long 5-10 minutes it took for her to finish and finally be quiet (she did for the remaining of the trip), but then your girlfriend just put on her headphones and focused on her music.

She was yawning a lot, while usually she isn't the sleepy one even when she is tired. Your fingers gently brushed her hand, and she took yours into hers. Adriana told you something in Portuguese, probably because she didn't want the other woman to understand it, about being sorry for putting the headphones on and isolating herself, or at least that is what you got.

Your knowledge of her language at the time was too approximative to try using it, so you used Italian to respect her wish to keep the conversation private, and tell her it was all ok (she could at least understand a basic sentence like that); the woman couldn't tell the difference between the two idioms anyway probably, with you weirdos speaking in your native languages you barely understood.

The hand holding was impossible to mistake tho.

The trip took a bit, since there was traffic being a working morning in a crowded town like Paris, but you made it in like 45 minutes.
