Arriving at the Victoria's Secret Show

The driver stopped the car where the local security and the VS team cordoned a few meters long passage to the building's main entrance, separated by metallic barriers from the remaining of the sidewalk, cramped with people waiting for the models arrival.

Many young fans, a lot of curious bystanders, some local bloggers, a lot of people anyway so a lot of potential trouble: security couldn't of course check them one by one, and that was probably the most exposed place so also the easiest one for anybody with bad intentions to do something.

There was nothing you could do about it, she had to cross that space so better keep the eyes open. Yourself, the driver and the VS woman went down first, and then you opened the door for her.

Still with the headphones on, connected to the iPhone she had in her hand, she walked the delimited space between screaming fans yelling her name.

You were on the side slightly behind her, scanning every face and every moment of the animated crowd in search of anything that could look remotely suspect or dangerous.

She smiled and waved at them briefly, even yelled back "Good morning, how're you doing?", then she went inside.

Just after the door one of the VS security guys and two police officers were waiting, along with another VS crew member who checked our names on a (very) long list and gave you the respective badges: two plastic cards with infos on who you were, what were your roles (you security, her talent, that meant model or singer for the show classifications) and a tissue necklace to keep them on.

You went on towards the backstage glam area that you saw yesterday.

The make-up artists and hair stylists were all already there, some starting to work with the few models already arrived (not many, you were early), the others mostly waiting, getting their instruments ready and chatting.
