Chapter 2 by splotch splotch

What's next?

Tattoo time

April arrived at the Shadow Parlor, a tattoo shop that specialized in gothic, wiccan and occult tattoos. April had three tattoos and had gotten them all here. Despite the pain, which she absolutely hated, April loved tattoos. Or, more importantly, her social media followers wrote hundred of comments about them, and she loved that. People always asked if there more they couldn't see, or when she'd get more. So April had a pressure to keep getting work done.

April entered. Working was Megan, a tall, lean woman a few years older than April. She had pale skin, jet black straight hair and tight black clothing and jewelry. She was April's regular artist and had done her previous tattoos. Besides her there were a few other artists giving tattoos to someone people.

"Hey April," Megan said. "Here for some more ink!"

"Yeah, April said, pulling out a heavy, leather bound book that looked very old. "I I found another super cool sigil in one of my occult books."

"You are such a nerd." Megan rolled her eyes. "Besides, I warned you about pulling designs from these mystic books."

"OH yeah, because you're worried about summoning a demon!" April mocked. "Come on, it looks rad!"

She showed the design to Megan, occult symbols and shapes. Megan had to admit it had a pretty gothic, mysterious look.

"Alright, let's get started." Megan said, pulling on a pair of gloves. "So, what does that symbol mean? Is it like a protection rune or something?"

"Oh no, this one says..."

What does the symbol do?
