They all went into Target as Margaret grabbed a cart and began pushing it. Stacey grinned as she said. “I think last I checked Alice needed new underwear. They’re starting to get a bit old and dirty.”

Alice’s eyes widened. On one hand she did need new underwear but she definitely did NOT want her stepmom’s help picking them out.

Margaret smiled as she nodded and said. “We can definitely pick some out. Let’s go by the Girls’s section. Alice still fits into those clothes so there’s no need to get anything else.”

Stacey laughed as she saw Alice make a face. Alice just hoped that no one she knew was in this store.

They went over to the wall of packages of undies and Stacey looked around pulling out some packages until she found the perfect ones. “How about these ones?”

Stacey held up a package and both Margaret and Alice looked at it at the same time.
