Talking with Jessie

Back outside, Misty found Jessie sitting on a log. Taking a seat beside her, the gym leader took a moment to calm herself.

"How are you feeling?" Jessie inquired and Misty let out a deep breath. Where to even begin here? Did she start at the point where she got absolutely soaked or would it be better to start earlier than that? It was honestly hard to say in this situation. Better yet, would Jessie even be willing to listen to what she had to say.

"I've been better." Misty answered as she stared down at her hands. Jessie reached over, taking a moment to grab hold. For now, Misty accepted the gesture.

"Want to go with me for now?" Jessie remarked and Misty's gaze shot up to meet the grunt's gaze. On one hand, this was no doubt a bad idea. And yet, what excactly did she have to lose? Nothing. There was no way she could ever go back to the Cerulean City Gym.

"That works for me." Misty answered and watched Jessie stand up. While they would need to clear up their camp, that shouldn't take too long.
