Talk to the twins.

You step away from Arabella and then find the twins. They both stare at you as they hug each other near the fire. Mikko smiles, while Gwendolion doesn't seem so trusting. You sit across from them and then sigh. "Well, that was pretty crazy."

Mikko's smile widens before she starts to nod. "You were incredibly brave just now! I don't think I know anyone that would have done that for us. I'm jealous!"

"Jealous? Is that the right word?" You ask, extending your hands out towards the fire. "I think you both did fairly good, considering the situation."

Her smile remains. "Thank you. But I'm afraid it was Arabella that kept us in check. I, myself, was thinking about bolting out as soon as you shot. But, you were so swift!"

You squint slightly. This was a little weird. You felt a lot...mightier as she praised you. You rub your hands together and then look at the flames as they dance along the scrapes of wood. "I...just did what I could. Nothing else to it. There are others that could have done it better than me."

Mikko scoots closer. "I think you're the best!" Her sister invades from the other side, but she doesn't say anything. Instead, she continues to let Mikko do the talking.

"We worked with a man from Japan not long ago before Amari set him, along with some of the others, to make an extensive contract. His name was Kenji." Mikko said, smiling. "He hated us, especially Arabella."

“I don’t really have any strong opinion about your kind,” you tell her, giving both of them a stare. “Unless you do something to me personally, I’m not gonna hate you.”

That last part made both of the girls smile. They look at each other and then slowly nod. “You’re so much better than our last master!” Mikko beams at you, her smile tight and natural. Her sister is smiling too. This is a gratifying moment, but you do not let it go to your head.

You clear your throat and crane your neck. You don’t know where else to go with the conversation. You also don’t want any awkward silence. “So, how should we secure the deal?” Gwendolion suddenly asks.

“Nothing is really done officially up here. So I don’t think we need to worry about signing any papers or securing anything.” You pause but then follow yourself with more. “Not to mention, I just killed a couple of guys to keep you guys safe.”

“Want can make men do many different things,” Mikko tells you, scooting closer now. “But a lot of things can happen in the heat of the moment. Now that you’ve cooled off and have gathered your thoughts, what would you do to secure us now?”

You felt your face get hot. “What do you mean?”

Gwendolion, who you didn’t realize was closing in on the other side, suddenly appears. “You know what we mean…”

You try to get up, but you stop yourself. Then, somewhere in the background, Arabella huffs. “You two oughta know better than to do this.”

Mikko has already put her hands on you, even as she looks past you to give Arabella a somewhat disgusted stare. “You know that sex is the best way to secure protection as much as I do.”

Arabella, somewhere behind you, groans. “I don’t think he will. He doesn’t strike me as the sexual type.”

“Let him decide how he wants to secure it, Arabella!” Mikko practically barks as she drags her hand closer to your groin area. You grab her wrist and look at her.

“Let me think here for a moment, God damnit!”
