Talk to the Goat Man.

"Ah, I'm- an adventurer, I'm traveling. My name is Stephan." You say, with hopefully enough believably. You make a gesture to your garments, and add on "I'm from a distant place, so I'm a bit ignorant to the local culture. Is a human outside really that particular?"

His eyes open a bit more, what you guess is shock plastered on his features. "Humans around here are a close knit community, and there aren't a lot of them. They make for it in political power, though. You'd be lucky to enter a city that wasn't governed by a minority of 'uman nobles." He explains helpfully. "You're foreign to 'r land? What a novelty." You let out a fake, but amicable chuckle. "Yea, I got lost on the way, and I really only have the skin off my back. Hopefully I can find a place to stay for the night. Do you know of any inns?"

He perks up at this inquiry, and takes a few seconds to react further to it. When he does, it's with a bit of bashfulness and a flush face. "Ah, 'er well I don' know of any inns that offer free stays... but if 'ya like, I can offer you a night stay at 'ma house. Nothin' too fancy, but it beats the streets!" He averts his eyes from you, clearly a little embarrassed. "Ah, t' name's Regnus. I'm a merchant."

"Really? You'd let me stay with you for a bit?" You ask, feeling a relief at finding a roof to lay your head under, if only for tonight. "I would really appreciate it!" You say.

"R-really? You're okay with stayin' with a roadie like me?" You get back, and you see a wry smile on his face.

"Of course. It beats sleeping in the streets!"
