Talk to Shireen

You laid there with her for a while, the comforting feeling of her slender nude body next to yours was pleasing.

"What do you suppose I should wear now?" she asked you, a smile on her lips, holding the torn up remnants of her dress.

"You could go nude," you reply, and she laughs in response, "is it fair that I'm the only man to see you like this."

She pouts at your lack of a suggestion, before reaching to the closet on the far side of the carriage. "I suppose I'll put on these clothes," she said, pulling on a grey tunic, trimmed with golden fabric, "and you should dress yourself as well, in case any one sees us."

You quickly obey her, putting your clothes back on, before the two of you find yourselves sitting on the bed once more.

"I-" just as you open your mouth, you are suddenly interrupted by an arrow embedding itself in the wall, just inches from your face.

Bandits!

"Lady Shireen, get down!" you shout to her, grabbing a sword from the wall, as she crouched behind you. You waited, hearing the sounds of battle outside, the fighting getting closer, arrows striking the carriage. Then finally, one of the bandits was upon you.

"You're one of those foolish knights who protects ladies like her," he said, an arrogant sneer across his face, "risking your life to protect a woman who would care not one bit if you died in her service." You feel Shireen's grip tighten on the back of your legs, her fear apparent.

"I protect the innocent, and I serve my liege," you respond defiantly, somehow finding the courage within yourself.

"I don't wish to harm you," he says, his eyes scanning your face, and you come to understand that he has somehow realized the lowborn circumstances of your birth, "so I will give you a choice. Fight me now and you will die, and we will, all hundred of us outlaws, take our turns with the lady you died to protect. Or," he says, a gleam in his eye, "join us, and you can keep the woman for your own."
