Talk to Julio About Leo

Leo's situation, his reclusiveness, has always been part of who he was. But having this kind of behavior so apparent in such a party is quite unusual for him. He'd always been present... Never hiding.

"Hey Julio got some time?"
"Sup?"

Julio would definitely have an idea on what could be done to solve the Leo issue. He's always been a chill presence, and his interest in the guy has not passed by unnoticed..

"It's about Leo."

He turned to give me his full attention. Seems like this Leo thing definitely is of interest to him.

"You found him?"

"Yes. He's not feeling his best."

"Where is he?"

On the one hand, I knew that Julio was a good person with good intentions. On the other hand, I felt oddly protective of my friend. I've always wanted to care for him and keep him safe, and he did put some odd trust in me tonight...

"Still working on being able to come here. He's not looking his best."
"He's quite the peculiar person I'll give you that... Have you tried make-up?"

That was an odd question, or assumption...

"What do you mean?"
"I mean make-up has always been an empowering thing that helps people get out of their comfort zone. Have you tried using that on him?"

His logic might have been flawed, but there was some sort of...thought behind it.

"You really think make-up can solve some sort of existential crisis in him?" I asked, truly curious.

"It always does in girls like you. Leo is no different. I'm sure that you can help him realize that."

His confidence in his announcements was intriguing, I felt like trying what he was saying.

"Here, I have a little something I always keep with me. Try it out on him and let me know once you have him ready for a public appearance."

Pulling out a small makeup kit from his bag, he hands it to me. Ever the artistic personality, I didn't find it odd that he'd have something like that on him.
