After finding out about Hinata, Naruto decided to talk with Hanabi for a bit. He found her fun to hang out with whenever she would tag along with him and Hinata, and figured he would see how she was doing. They started to chat a bit, before Hanabi offered to Naruto to come inside for tea. Not wanting to be rude, Naruto accepted and followed her inside. Hanabi put some tea on, as they continued to chat about things going on in the village. After a few minutes Hanabi had left to grab the tea, and reentered the room moments later, with two cups of tea in hand. As she was sitting back down, she noticed the wound up scroll next to Naruto. Curious, Hanabi asked him about it. "So Naruto, how was your trip, and whats with the scroll you have there?" Naruto had completely forgotten of the scroll that he had found at the mask shrine. He knew the it could potentially be dangerous jutsu in the wrong hands, but this was Hanabi. She basically family to him, he knew he could trust her. Naruto then decides to unravel the scroll and tell Hanabi of his trip to the mask shrine, the Uzumaki history, and of the jutsu they had sealed away. Hanabi was amazed when she heard of the jutsu. It seemed interesting, she wondered if Naruto had tried it out yet.

"So have you tried the jutsu out yet?" Hanabi asked him. "Not yet," stated Naruto, "You are the first person I've talked to since returning to the village, so I haven't had much of a chance to." This left Hanabi even more curious to see the jutsu and its results. Deciding to take initiative, Hanabi then asked, "Could I try to mask jutsu?" Naruto was surprised he didn't Hanabi would be interested in something like that, but to be honest he was curious himself to see the results." Alright, I don't see any harm. So who would you want to make a mask of?" He asked.
