Talk to Candi's Boss.

I pause for a bit, then shrug. "Let me talk to your boss."

"What?"

"I said," I pull Candi close to me, taking her in my arms, "let me talk to your boss."

I'm able to get a audience with her boss, pretty damn easily, especially with Candi in my arms. The security lets us through easily and I find the woman sitting with her legs crossed and a drink in her hand. There are two men next to her, who remain silent.

"Ms. Fox—" Candi starts.

"Interesting man you brought before me today, Candi. But, I'm not sure what exactly a thief is doing here," Ms. Fox says. And if she's expecting some sort of reaction. She doesn't get it. Instead I cross my arms and she gives me an honest smirk as Candi looks over me.

"I'm looking for Nyssa. Candi says she knows where she is. But you'd have a problem with her telling me. I'm here to fix that."

"Are you? How dangerous," Ms. Fox coos while Candi nervously looks between me and her. Like she's expecting one of us to tear into the other. I'm waiting for it too, I don't got any idea what this chick is thinking, but that smile can't be good. After a bit she speaks. "You know, I've always wanted to see if the rumors about you are true."

"What are the rumors?"

"If it's true that you leave every bitch you fuck seeing stars," she stands up and I'm getting a nice, nice, nice, view of the woman's body. Thick in all the right places. I lean on my foot and squint at her.

"You trying to find out?"

"Maybe, but since you brought Candi here. Why don't a few of us have some fun..." Ms. Fox looks to one of her men and points at him. He immediately begins to disrobe.

"Fucking hell," I say under my breath, knowing where this is going.

"If you can really prove yourself. I'll tell you where Nyssa is and won't punish Candi for revealing a customer's location without permission."

Candi looks up at me. And I shrug at her. This was a better out come than I had planned...
