Talk to Angela

Quietly, I seek out Angela. Quickly, I find her sitting on the fence, overlooking the view I have from my backyard. I sit beside her.

"What are you thinking?" I ask quietly

"I could do so much here. I could change the world. But instead I have to go home. Back to fighting every day. And I won't even remember this place."

I don't have anything I could say that would make her feel better so I just hug her. She turns and begins crying into my chest. "I won't even remember you. What are you supposed to do if you get hurt and I'm not around?"

Still with nothing to say, I only hug her tighter. We stay like that for a long while.
