Talk about the upcoming romantic honeymoon

The phone buzzes on the mattress behind her, but Claire completely ignores it. She turns around in your arms, her eyes dark with anticipation as she looks up at you. "So," she whispers, expectant. "What's next?"

You tighten your grip on her waist, looking down into her face. "Well, I did say honeymoon. And a real honeymoon requires absolute privacy and time alone. We need to properly bond, strip away the outside world, and let all those feel-good hormones do their magic."

Hearing that, Claire sits up slightly against the pillows. The playful, confident look she wore a moment ago softens into a mix of hesitance, confusion, and a hint of growing, raw affection for you. She looks at you earnestly. "Are you sure about this,John? Do you really want us to develop feelings?"

You lean in closer, your gaze steady. "It’s better with emotions, right? You said it yourself. It’s like taking ****. I guess the crash afterward is going to be bad, but people still do it anyway because the high is worth it." You pause, looking down at her belly. "After spending seven straight days together, something is bound to change."

Your eyes drop significantly, lingering on the flat expanse of her stomach, before looking back up into her eyes. "Other than that obvious potential change... we’re going to be making love all the time, aren't we? At least you can tell the child its father and mother love each other."

"That's so romantic."

"It's not a lie. Better than saying it happened due to an impromptu set up."

Claire chuckles mirthlessly. "What did Tom expect, putting us together like this?"

"Other than special delivery, his fetish? As for us, I think it’s going to be a massive emotional crash," you say honestly. "It might ruin us. It might completely ruin what you have with him." You look at her intently. "But that’s exactly what your husband is doing by pushing us together."

Claire shakes her head slightly, a small, breathless smile appearing on her lips. "But you’re the one taking me away on a honeymoon,John. Tom probably only expected this to last two or three days at most."

"It's a matter of a slow burn or a complete inferno," you reply, your voice dropping to a whisper. "If he keeps pushing you into someone else's arms, it’s bound to happen anyway. But the plan is, for the next week, I want to treat you like a real lover. It’s not that I’m telling you not to go back to your husband when this is over. I just want us to completely enjoy the whole thing." You cup her face in your hands. "I’m more than willing to go through with it with you."
