Taking Action

I swallow hard, knowing I will need to deal with this eventually, and it will just get worse the longer it goes on. Walking carefully, I manage a pleasant expression, my high heels clicking softly as I approach, pausing behind the couch to take a breath, still rather nervous. Remembering how short a time I've known Zoe, I still don't want that to define our relationship. "Zoe, I enjoyed paying you back for the bet and all, but I..." I pause, my lower lip wavering, still nervous, taking a breath before continuing, "Simply can't let it define us."

She smirks back, turning her head to me and actually shooting me a pleasant smile. "You've done well so far, my dear, and I don't hold it against you. If I did before, I don't now. That said, you do look better naked... happier, maybe?"

She pauses, letting out a breath before closing her book, and setting it aside before resuming speaking. I wait patiently, pleasantly surprised by her apparent change of feelings, and I notice her low-cut V-top giving me a rather generous view of her curves. Looking back my way, speaking of being naked once more, I was hoping to check out the amenities here... grab a warm shower, and was hoping you'd help show me around. The unit does not even have a shower, so it must have a central hub. Now, if you're willing to help out, it would be appreciated."

Caught rather by suprise, I blink several times in rapid succession, deciding how to best respond. I wouldn't mind a shower, and it may help build a rapport, but then again, it could be a deception...?

Do I dare to trust her, or perhaps do I dare not too?
