Takes a detour towards the harbour

Not thrilled about simply strolling down there just yet, Druuna thought it best to look around at first, bypassing the market-place and heading for the old harbour area.

These parts of the city were in much better shape than they had been further east, and there even seemed to exist some sort of civilized life here:

Many of the houses had been at least partially repaired and re-inhabited, and the street-life was rather vivid.

As Druuna walked down the streets, she received several lewd comments from different men, but no one seemed to be willing to do more than suggest obscenities.

After walking for a good half of an hour, Druuna noticed that the number of inhabited buildings seemed to be dropping again.

This didn?t mean that the area wasn?t used however, it seemed to be filled with different warehouses and small workshops.

The workshops soon became bigger and seemingly more organized, Druuna could see long lines of men carrying in stocks or doing similar chores.

Furthermore, and definitely not good, Druuna could start to spot men wearing grey uniforms standing in small groups at cross-sections and outside some of the larger buildings.

Some of them had started taking notice to her presence, pointing at her while discussing something.

Druuna didn?t like how things were turning out, and decided to head back to the market-place.

Before she could do so, a group of soldiers started to move towards her.

Still moving back, Druuna pondered whether or not she should start running.

As they watched her walk away, one of the guards let out a ?Halt!?
