Run!

Druuna wasn?t about to be captured by anyone, and those guards didn?t look to nice either.

Therefore, she feigned to listen to the guards, who then approached her rather leisurely, and then began to sprint away from them.

This caught the soldiers by surprise, and before they could do anything, Druuna had slipped around a corner, denying them a chance to fire at her.

Still, she could hear them shouting after her as they began to chase her.

Figuring that it was best not to stay out in the open, where there were a lot of workers moving about, some of which might try to stop her to please the guards, Druuna took right into a narrow alley.

She wasn?t far ahead enough to do so without the guards seeing it, and as she ran down the alley, she could hear the sound of their boots hitting the tarmac bouncing of the walls behind her.

The narrow alley turned into several even narrower back-streets, which diverted into new paths over and over again, forming a labyrinth.

The good thing about that was that it made it harder for the guards to follow Druuna, the bad thing was that she was now lost, not having any idea of where she was or what the best way to move was, simply making short-term decisions whenever coming to a new crossway.

However, she could no longer hear footsteps behind her, and so Druuna stopped to catch her breath, her heavy breasts heaving as she inhaled air, her pulse calming down.

Now was the time to find a way out of there, and Druuna began to move again, this time walking slowly rather than running.

Glad over having escaped the guards, she failed to keep her guard up and was completely surprised when she rounded a corner only to find herself standing face to face with four guards, walking in the opposite direction.

Recovering from the surprise, Druuna immediately turned round and starting running again, ignoring a new ?Halt!? from one of the soldiers, who of course began to chase her.

As she ran, she began to desperately look for a solution.

This wasn?t going to work, she had to get out of this maze!

As she rounded another corner, the soldiers only twenty feet behind her, Druuna saw an opened door. Making her mind on the move, she ran inside and kept running, there was no time to shut the door.

She more or less threw herself down behind a large crate, and sat in dimly lit room, waiting to see whether or not the soldiers would stop by the door to look for her inside or if they would think that she was running somewhere ahead of them.
