Takeover

An idea strikes you.

"Beth, I want you to call your higher-ups and say that you are transferring over full control of you firm to me. Insist upon it until they agree."

"Sure, but where would I work?"

"Oh, you'd still work here, but I would be your new boss."

"Oh, okay." Beth nods. "I guess I can do that."

"Good. You have my number. Call me once you've finished up."

You exit her office and call in the remaining employees. You have Jessica sit in her new chair, and wonder if the remote could work on all twenty of the lawyers, paralegals, and attourneys assembled before you.

Only one way to find out, you think. You hit program and aim the remote at the confused employees.
