Should he be a good man, or have it all?

Take the high road

Chapter 5 by 2-C-mera-K-ng-5

Just could feel himself shake, literally the most vile urges and imaginings came to mind. He wasn't a saint. He had his own dirty desires, his darker wishes. It wouldn't have been the first time he'd wondered about just being able to fuck all the most beautiful women around, anyone he thought to be attractive. It had always been one of his guiltiest desires to be able to control everyone around to to suit his needs, to give him unlimited access to anything he wanted no matter the consequences.

The only difference now was that he could actually do it. Right here, right now. Just a few simple words and he would have... well... unlimited sex for one. Any kind of sex, all kinds of sex. Justin couldn't deny the temptations was there. The book was there. the pencil was there. The opportunity was RIGHT THERE!

"God Damnit Justin." he whispered, his hand closing the book up before pinching the bridge of his nose to get his thoughts together.

He wasn't a monster. He didn't care about being some good, righteous person, but he wasn't... that. He could fantasize about it, sure, but actually going through with it? it didn't feel right. No, maybe it did, but it didn't feel like it should feel right. Like it was too easy, too obvious. Too... boring.

He imagined having some fun for a couple months, but then what. He'd be left with nothing but a limitless world and no need to do much of anything. What kind of life was that? An insane one, that's what. He could imagine going insane in weeks, treating everyone around him like disposable playthings. Justin knew he would. He wasn't a good man. He was just so boring, so completely average, that he wouldn't even take a chance at near-godhood.

And he was suddenly okay with that.

But maybe... maybe he could still do something with this book. He already had, so a little more couldn't hurt. He wanted someone who would love him, but would he be satisfied getting that kind of relationship from some bullshit God-book?

He thought about a bit before deciding: Yes. Yes he would. He wasn't a saint, after all. But the question was... what kind of girlfriend did he want? He did have a crush or two he wouldn't mind hooking up with, but that didn't sit well with him. He already knew them, understood them, and accepted that they weren't the right people for him.

So not a girl he already knew.

Justin's eyes roved around the cafe, noting some of the women around him were indeed fairly attractive looking. He could potentially make any one of them into his girlfriend. That still left a bad taste in his mouth, like he was playing God with people's lives... which, granted, was kinda the whole point of using the book to begin with. That didn't mean he was going to be callous with it. He didn't want to just make some stranger do whatever he wanted for eternity.

Then again, did he need to? Did he need to force something like love to happen. wasn't there a more natural route to take? Did he need to take some unknown person and twist them to his own purposes? No, he didn't. He could literally MAKE his own girlfriend. Or at least find his perfect girlfriend. Maybe some combination of the two.

Which brought him to the big question: what kind of girl was his perfect girlfriend?

Justin didn't think he was the picky sort. He felt he could like all sorts of women, regardless of skin tone, height, bust size, or personality type. Okay, maybe there were some exceptions, but by and large, he really only have a few preferences that mattered.

-She had to be intelligent in some way, to be able to mentally or emotionally challenge him. He was intelligent and knew he needed someone who could think around his level. At the very least they couldn't be willfully ignorant. It wasn't about being necessarily book smart, just willing to think through problems and think ahead.

– She would need to be healthy. He wasn't big on... bigger girls and he preferred not being with someone with poor eating habits.

– She'd need to have at least one shared interest as him. Something that he could share with her and bond over, no matter how small. Justin felt it was important to have some shared activity that brought a couple together as comrades as well as lovers.

– Finally, any potential girlfriend would be okay with the idea of having kids at some point in her life. He had always wanted a family for as long as he could remember. Justin didn't want to adopt and he didn't feel comfortable with the idea of a surrogate mother either.

All in all, Justin didn't feel like those were big requirements. With that said, he certainly had preferences besides those, but he never expected to be able to, well, customize for that. With this notebook, however, he could get exactly what he wanted most, no matter how unlikely or out of his league she would be. The only question was, again, what kind of person would be his perfect girlfriend?
