Take her home

“Back home, we sometimes had issues with vermin.” Rebecca said to everyone. “Creatures like wax beetles and wax moths.”

“I figured.” Benjamin replied. “We had issues with them in our birth hive as well.”

Rebecca looked at Benjamin and then told him, “Then you can probably see the benefit of having Webby around to take care of them.

Benjamin closed his eyes, brought one of his hands to his chin and thought about the idea for a moment.

“I guess, if there is a steady supply of them, it could work. But we currently haven’t had any and if we ever have a long period of not getting any of those, we should worry about her eating some of us to fend off starvation.”

“Not if there is something else she can eat.” Rebecca then told Benjamin.

Rebecca opened the jar of honey she had brought for Webby and offered it to her spider friend. Webby accepted the jar and eats some of the honey. Then she turned back to Benjamin and studied his reaction at watching a spider eat honey.

“It would be an awful big risk.” Benjamin said as he gave Rebecca a mean look. “I for one am against it.”

Rebecca looked over at Tobias who shrugged and said, “I’m not afraid of her.” Shortly followed by Billy saying, “I think we could use help keeping those wax stealers out.”

Finally, Rebecca turned to Webby.

“Webby, you can live with us and be safe from those mud daubers, but you can never hurt one of us. You can have any wax stealers that show up, but if they don’t show up, you will have to be content with honey instead.” Rebecca explained.

“Yes. I understand.” Webby nodded. Then she leaned in and hugged Rebecca. “Thank you.”

Before Rebecca and her friends returned back home, Webby told them where she had stored some silk she had made to trade for Rebecca’s honey. After that, Rebecca and her friends took Webby home with them. Tobias and Billy helped to pick up Webby and flew her to their home. Benjamin decided to carry the silk instead. That way he could fly behind his brothers and keep an eye on Webby.

Eventually, they returned to the square tree and showed Webby the gap in its roots which served as the entrance. When Webby got to the actual hive hidden under the tree, she was amazed.

“Wow. This place is like, really cozy. It’s so tight and snuggly and hidden away. Yeah, I think I will like it here.” Webby said.

“Well, guess I better start making a new room.” Tobias announced.

Benjamin simply dumped the silk in a corner and headed off to the kitchen to sulk. Billy instead, picked them up and marveled at their colors while trying out how soft they were.

As the guys went to do their things, Rebecca suggested Webby to follow her to her room.

“Alright. We girls finally have some time for ourselves.” Rebecca said as she sighed. “How do you feel?”

“Still quite nervous.” Webby replied. “I just got attacked. Had to abandon my home. Now finding refuge in the home of someone I tried to eat about a week ago. It’s all been really very weird.”

Rebecca invited Webby to sit with her on the bed. While she has met females of different species, she has never really had a heart to heart with one of them. Could Webby be similar to her fellow daughter queens back in Pollensville? It was certainly different to simply be in the presence of someone with 6 legs and 2 arms. And her gigantic butt really made Webby feel impressive. But she had such a cute face. The spider's long straight hair made her look cute and her modest chest helped to make Rebecca less worried of being overshadowed when it came to bust sizes and attracting the boys' wandering eyes.

After a good long talk, Benjamin came in with some food and presented it to both girls.

“Sorry for being so mean, before.” Benjamin apologized to Webby. “I was just being worried.”

“I understand.” Webby replied. “With my diet being the way it is, you are right to be concerned. But I promise to be the safest spider to be around.”

Benjamin nodded at Webby and then left the girls alone.

“See. I figured he just needed some time to think about it.” Rebecca said. Then she grabbed some food that Benjamin brought and ate it.

“Yeah, I’ve been wondering.” Webby asked. “How come those 3 guys have such dark skin and you don’t? Is that normal with bees?”

“Oh no. We’re just from different hives.” Rebecca explained. “I am from a hive where all bees are fair skinned while they are from a hive where all bees are dark skinned.”

“I see.” Webby said as she started nibbling on some food Benjamin brought as well. “So … I take it they’ve been fun to have around?”

Rebecca cocked her head in confusion and asked Webby what she meant.

“You know.” Webby said and pointed at her belly.

Rebecca then looked at her own belly and realized Webby was referring to how swollen it was.

“Wha-wha-wha-what do you mean?” Rebecca started stuttering.

Webby raised her hands and said, “All I’m saying is when we first met, your belly was totally flat. The second time we met, there was a slight bulge. And this time the bulge got even bigger.”

Rebecca started blushing at Webby implying she’s been having sex with the guys. Like, yeah, it’s true. But it’s still embarrassing to get called out on it.

“I … I … I do not wish to talk about this.”

“Sure, no problem.” Webby said with a little smirk. “Just be sure to keep that stuff private, alright? I prefer not being a witness to it.”
