Mark moved away from the edge of the jacuzzi and into the middle of the water, surrounded by his friends on the edge. He slowly floated towards Miranda, her twin peaks standing in his way.

The other two boys looked on jealously, wishing it was them who had their head in the middle of that rack, even Macca who had been the one to start all of this.

After the jacuzzi, Mark found himself on the back deck, drying himself off. It was still such a lovely night in terms of weather, that Florida summer right around the corner.

While he was out there, he was joined by Miranda who came out still in her bra and panties, this time, she had a white towel around her.

“Shower’s are all full,” she said, with a polite smile as she sat down one of the empty chairs near Mark.

“Oh bummer, was hoping for one now,” Mark said as he continued to dry his legs.

He looked over at the blonde who seemed to be a little bit in her own world. Mark felt this would be a good chance to touch bases with her about the dare that occurred in the jacuzzi.

“Hope I didn’t cross a line there,” Mark asked her as they both dried off with their towels.

She shook her head, “No, it’s fine, it was just a game and I know you were hesitant.”

“You didn’t mind?” he asked again.

“I know you’re worried about me after everything we spoke about last night but truly, it’s okay,” she explained to him, “I’ve still had a good couple of days here and I guess I kind of owe you for that.

Not long after, Daniel came to the sliding door. Both looked over at the boy now changed in some bed wear, his hair still wet from the shower.

“The shower downstairs is free if either of you are interested,” he told them.

“Thanks Dan,” Miranda said, “I’ll take it.”

He smiled before shutting the door and heading back inside. Miranda stood up and looked at Mark, “You fine if I have the first shower?”

“Of course.”

She smiled before heading back inside herself.

Mark was more than thankful that he hadn’t taken a step backwards with his social work that he had put into Miranda. But he couldn’t help wonder if he had made a mistake with the blonde, should he have not done it at all, would it have led to any better of a result?
