Life as usual?

The rest of the week proceeds rather uneventfully, before your phone lights up with a message.

[Andrew: Yo Brian, we're still on 4 Friday, right?]

[Andrew: U forgot about it, didn't u? Dumbass. Same ol scatterbrain as always, haha.]

Andrew Park, your college friend. He was happily married to Marisa, his high school sweetheart who was also part of your friend group by default. Even though Ada hadn't entered the picture until much later, they'd both welcomed her into the group with open arms along with some of your other friends. They'd asked you and Ada out to a double date this Friday, for dinner to catch up - and it had totally slipped your mind. Ada wouldn't be happy about you springing this on her on such short notice, but better late than never right? Besides, she'd be happy to catch up with some old friends, and that'd probably take some of the heat off your little mistake.

Shit. You'd totally forgotten about that too. Andrew and Marisa had been exploring the polygamy/swinging lifestyle recently. They were apparently slowly warming up to the lifestyle, but were having trouble finding steady, trustworthy partners to experiment with. Andrew had expressed interest about involving you and Ada since the four of you were tight and could trust each other. Regardless of whether or not you accepted, he assured you that there would be no hard feelings - he just wanted everyone to be on the same page.
