Take a shower and eat breakfast

"I will see you downstairs," she says before leaving your room.

You stretch your arms and head to your bathroom. The warm water feels good as you step into the shower. You wash your body thoroughly. After a few minutes you step out, dry yourself, and return to your room.

You pick out a comfortable outfit for university. Dark jeans, a simple gray t-shirt, and a light hoodie. You grab your backpack and put your laptop and sketch tablet inside.

Downstairs the kitchen is lively. Marcus is standing by the counter drinking coffee while reading something on his tablet. Izzy is at the table eating toast, wearing a loose tank top and shorts. Elena is already there making herself another coffee.

You quickly make yourself some cereal and eat it standing up. The family chats casually. Marcus jokes about a project at work while Izzy talks about her plans for the evening. Elena gives you a knowing little smile every now and then. The breakfast is quick and relaxed. A few minutes later you finish eating, rinse your bowl, and say goodbye to everyone.

You step outside the house into the warm late spring morning. The sun is bright and the neighborhood is active. Several people are walking on the sidewalk and you can see a couple having sex against a car a few houses down.

You are now standing in front of the house, ready to head to university.
