Take a moment to strategize first.

Adolphus approaches you as you're completing one last check of the straps on your armor. "Well said, Lord Gaius. But if I can ask...what is your plan exactly, here?"

You frown. "What do you mean?"

He sighs. "We're going up against a **** that's probably bigger, and almost certainly better equipped. Look around!" He gestures with faint disgust at the collection of men. "Why, I like a great many of these men, but they're not exactly Rome's finest." He returns his gaze to you. "So are we just going to charge in like fools? Or are we going to think about a subtler approach?"

You frown. On the one hand, you really want to just lay into these bandits. On the other...Adolphus probably has a good point. He's got more combat experience than you, for sure.
