Tag-Team Matches

Tag-team matches operate in a similar manner to normal matches, except that there are two fighters on each side. Only one fighter on each team is active in the ring at any given time; the other must stand on the ring apron. The active fighter may switch with the inactive fighter at any time by touching their hand.

Scoring is broadly the same as in standard matches, but each team has a single score rather than one for each fighter, in order to encourage cooperation within teams.

Inactive fighters may attempt to interfere with each other or affect the events in the ring without physically entering it, but the standard rules about leaving the ring still apply if they descend from the apron.

Allowing inactive fighters to enter the ring to directly assist their tag partners is frowned upon.
