TTT: Announcement--Top Turkey Teacher is a Draw

Leah waited in anticipation for the intercom to break the quiet of her final class period that day. The warble of the speaker finally rang out, and the students in Leah's class instinctively hushed to listen.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen," Mr. Sharpe's voice came through the speaker "This year is a little bit different. It seems that this year's Top Turkey Teacher competition was a tie!" He paused to build some anticipation " Rather than give a single award we would like to just recognize Mrs. Clemens and Miss Williams! Excellent Job ladies! You are both winners in our opinions." Just as quickly as it had come the intercom shut off. Leah's students all gave her a round of applause and she bowed her head gracefully.

Sadly she knew that none of this really mattered without a clear winner.
