She spotted it rather quickly: A short-sleeved red shirt with targeting scopes on the sleeves; khaki hunting vest; dark pants and boots; bushman’s hat and shades; and an empty quiver.

The outfit seemed somewhat masculine, but Lauren realized she could make it work. Besides, her boyfriend liked girls who knew how to fight back. As he once put it, “I don’t save princesses; I like them by my side, in the heat of battle.”
