You quickly got your class ready for a proper game, allowing them to choose their own teams, as long as they were fairly even. You made Tyler one captain and a girl named Eve the other one.

You blew your whistle for the game to start and after a few minutes the first points were scored.

Your attention was grabbed by Sherry and Sydney walking around the court to you. “Hey Mr Townes.” Sherry smiled while holding her hands behind her back.

“Hey girls.” You nodded while trying to watch your class.

“I can referee if you want.” Sherry said suddenly. “So you guys can ‘catch up’” she giggled.

“What do you mean?” You questioned her. She giggled and Sydney looked down. You looked at Sydney who avoided your gaze. Confused you gave Sherry the whistle who bobbed away before immediately blew the whistle.

“Dribbling!” She yelled…

“We need to talk.”
