“Have a nice day Jade.” You said wiping her smirk away, she rolled her eyes and began to leave. “Miss Cox, a word please.” You said getting up from your desk. You walked over shut the door behind the last student and turned to see Sydney giving you a sympathetic smile.

“Are you ok? What’s wrong?” She asked appearing concerned.

You scoffed at her attempt, “No I’m not ok, your what’s wrong.” You pointed at her, her smith faded and was replaced with a shocked expression. “ You just blab about my divorce to everyone, fuck you couldn’t even hold a secret for a weekend.”

“I… didn’t.” You could tell she was confused, she began to look though her phone, “Wait yes I’m sorry, I told Sherry but I’d didn’t think she would post it.”

“She POSTED IT?” You nearly yelled causing Sydney to jump. She stepped up to you and showed you the post of the the three of you at the bar, and it had the two rings at your hand on the table. Sherry even says in her caption, that you were back to being a bachelor. That’s where Jason heard. You thought.

“Mr Townes I didn’t know she would. I’m sorry.” You could see the sincerity in her eyes as she looked up at you, and you just now noticed your position. She was standing right in front of you nearly as close as Jade was. “Let me make it up to you.” She whispered before closing the distance with a quick peck on your lips. A split second. And yet so much changed. Your heart melted while the taste of strawberries lingered on your lips.
