Syd is caught

Coleman knew he was being tailed, and he knew exactly by who. "This is turning out to be a better evening than I thought it would be," he said turning to Nancy. "Your partner must be terribly worried about you not showing up for work. She's tailing us. I think we will invite her to play with us."

"Please leave her out of it," begged Nancy. She had a worried look on her face.

Coleman smiled. "No can do sweetheart. She spotted us. That puts us both in danger. If anything happens to me, then Izzy is a goner. So we have to do something about her. So why not invite her to join us? I'd love to sample her sugar walls. Wouldn't you?"

All Nancy could do was sigh and resign herself to Coleman's whims. "Do what you have to do."

"Now that's the spirit!" Coleman mocked her. e hit the intercom button for his driver. "James, there's someone tailing us. I want to capture them. Let's head to the office building and go into the parking garage. Once the car tailing us is inside with us, you know what to do."

"Yes sir. I have the remote for the gate and the tire spikes right here beside me."

Coleman smiled again at Nancy. "I'm sure Syd will become a very valuable member of our team."

The limo proceeded on its way as if it were oblivious to the car tailing it. Syd was in all of her glory. "Am I good at tailing people or am I good?" she smirked to herself. "I'm gonna bust your ass tonight, Coleman!" She knew Coleman well, and she knew he was forcing Nancy to do something for him. Nancy wouldn't be caught dead with someone like Coleman.

The limo finally pulled off the main drag, and into the office building parking garage. True to form, Syd followed right behind them. Once she was inside, the gate came down, barring any chance of an exit. The limo had sped up enough that she had lost sight of it. Then the unexpected happened. The limo came out of nowhere, right towards her. "Awww! Shit!" Syd panicked. She threw the car in reverse, popping her rear tires in the process over the spike strips that had deployed just behind her. "Damn! I just bought those tires!" She angrily got out of the car and pulled out her gun. "You're gonna pay for this Coleman!" she shouted as she pulled out her gun.

Nancy and Coleman got out of the limo first with Coleman holding a gun to her head. The limo driver got out afterward, pointing his own gun at Syd. "All right Syd, let me tell you how this is going to go. You put down your gun and get your ass over here. Otherwise, I might be tempted to splatter your partner's brains all over the place. Now put it down on the ground and get over here, and let's talk."
