Sword fighting

'I want to see how you would react in a battle, but without your bow.' You search for two large, thick sticks lying around the forest floor. Once you find the ones you deem right for this purpose, you hand one to Shasta. 'Show me what you can do.' You get in your battlestance, left foot forward, your body straight and your arms ready to swing the stick.

Shasta does the same and you stand a across from each other, ready to fight. The hobbit girl is the first to make her move, but you dodge out of the way without effort. She is incredibly quick and agile, but she's too predictable. You turn around and hit her on the back of her knee. 'Ouch!'

'You'll have to do better than that.' You smirk at her.

She turns around for an attack, but misses. You stick out your foot, which she falls over. Her face hits the ground. You laugh at her. She is visibly getting very angry and in a quick motion she pulls your legs. The back of your head hits the ground now too. Shasta gets up quickly and holds the stick to your face. You swing your stick, trying to get hers out of your face, but she just hits it back and it flies out of your hand. You must have been a worse sword fighter than you thought. It seems like she got you. She smirks at you, knowing this is true.

Suddenly an arrow flies past Shasta's ear. It hits a tree behind her with a loud thud.
