Sweet Caroline

Minutes passed and standing up weakly stopped in front of the group of women who stood there watching my every movement until I cleared my throat to get their attention, “Yes Damian?” I looked over and smiling at Caroline spoke, “Caroline can I talk to you alone for a moment?” she nodded taking my arm as we walked to the scene of the battlefield as she looked into my eyes and I did the same I asked, “Caroline... I know my imprint bond won’t be broken until the Esme or I die but we are going our separate ways, she wants me to stay but we know that won’t help things” “Damian you are you are babbling again!” “I was just trying to explain the situation but what I wanted to ask you is: Will you marry me? Or at least come to Alaska with me?” “Me? Not Rebekah?” “With the trouble Rebekah has caused you were there for me and we flourished... I can’t give you everything, the bond allow it but I would love it if you cane with me!” Caroline smiled before kissing my lips hugged me as she spoke, “Damian of course I will, I love you and that is all that matters! Screw the bond and screw Esme. If she doesn’t love you then I will!” I kissed her again before taking my arm she whispered, “Let’s tell the others!”

Rebekah wasn’t pleased but acknowledged it and Esme even less so, she tried to make my head turn to suitors she wanted. Caroline grew nervous but I didn’t take any notice of that bitch, as far as I saw it: Esme ruined my life and broke me emotionally and anything she said was rubbish or toxic. When the ceremony came Caroline tensions eased to see me standing there happily waiting for her, the ceremony consisted of Caroline’s friends but Rebekah refused to come and my friends which was the remaining wolves, Irish coven, Denali’s, Benjamin and Tia and Alice with Jasper and Rosalie with Emmett. Trouble didn’t stop for the Cullen’s and now Aro who lived there with his wife. Jane went back North with Tanya who tried to shake her endlessly off but Jane refused to be shook off and instead carried on until Tanya gave in, Alec went where his sister went, leaving Felix who disliked the Cullen’s and the smell of the wolf’s accepted the invitation by Siobhan to join the Irish clan and became the big brother to Maggie which was left vacant by Damian. After some trouble between Jasper cheating on Alice, Alice headed North to Damian’s clan, he was made leader by Tanya being the superior creature but refusing it he respected her position and respect. Alice left and into the arms of Alec who surprised everyone even himself on the bond forged after he saw the heartbroken woman crying her heart out. Rosalie and Emmett left a year after when they found out Carlisle had joined Bella in cheating on his diet, when it got worse Esme threatened to leave him but stayed loyal until he flipped out and hurt her, she fled north putting Damian under a moral dilemma, Caroline eased his conscious by telling him to let her in and when it came Carlisle begging for her to come back they were met by accusations of him cheating on Caroline or luring her away, Caroline again defended her mate stating, “He let her in only because it was the right thing to do, nothing more!” and the battle came the Cullens were slain, house sold to the wolves who expanded into their house and the extended Denali’s lived together away from the others and discovering his true self the rise of Damian Denali was inevitable.
