Suzu calls her

As Ashley contemplated how her world might be shattered, her phone buzzed. She retrieved it from her pocket, and checked it. It was an unknown number, which Ashley usually ignored. This time however, she didn’t know why, but she felt like answering, so she did.

“Hello.” A voice said. It took Ashley a moment before she recognized it was Suzu.

“Hi...? How did you...?” Ashley started.

“I looked up your number on your phone when I took it so I could contact you later.” Suzu quickly answered. Ashley wasn’t quite sure that made sense, since her phone had a lock on it, but whatever. “Now, where are you?”

“In my room, why?” Ashley asked.

“I would like to come see you and discuss your strange predicament.” Suzu said, her voice as flat as before. Ashley furrowed her brows. Who was this girl? She seemed so weird yet...Ashley felt like she could trust her. Against her better judgement, Ashley gave her the location of her dorm and the room she was in, and Suzu hung up. Ashley laid back and once again thought about the entire situation, still overcome with great embarrassment.

Soon enough, there was a knock on her door, and Ashley got up. She walked over, opened the door, and was shocked to find Suzu still naked as she stood waiting.

“S-Suzu! What are you-!?” Ashley started, but Suzu ignored her and walked into the room. Ashley looked out and saw students in the hallway whispering to each other as they gestured to the room the naked girl had just walked into. Ashley quickly shut the door and turned to Suzu, who looked her up and down.

“Those look good on you.” Suzu said. Ashley shook her head.

“Why did you come here naked?” Ashley asked.

“Because I prefer being naked over being clothed, and I wanted to come over right away.” Suzu answered matter-of-factly, as if it was obvious.

“But...what about-?”

“I’ve gotten good at avoiding people who oppose my nudity.” Suzu answered. Ashley opened her mouth to speak, but shook her head.

“Okay, so...” Ashley said “...what now?”

“Well, explain the situation from your side. Because all I know is you showed up in the bathroom naked.” Suzu said. Ashley explained how she met an old woman, the reaction of the man she had run into, and the mother. She explained how she could see herself wearing clothes, but it seemed no one else could. Ashley was having a little bit of a hard time concentrating as Suzu continued to stand naked in front of her. The entire time, Suzu simply nodded, a hand on her chin in thought. When Ashley was done, Suzu made a “hmph” noise again.

“When you took out your phone, it almost seemed like you pulled it out of nowhere.” Suzu noted. Ashley thought back and remembered how that was the only moment Suzu showed any sort of emotion, one of interest and surprise.

“My best guess is that old woman was a spiteful witch.” Suzu said. Ashley laughed aloud, but when she saw Suzu was completely serious, she stopped. “On top of that, I assume if you put on any clothes, no one will ever be able to see them.”

“But, what about these?” Ashley asked, gesturing to the jacket and pants.

“Those are custom made by me, made with materials that counteract the curse.” Suzu explained. Ashley sighed. Of course they were.

“So I have to wear these forever?” Ashley asked. Ashley didn’t hate it, but if this was the only outfit she could wear for the rest of her life, that would not go well. Thankfully, Suzu shook her head.

“Not only can I make you some clothes, but I’ll also try to help you break the curse.” Suzu said. Ashley went wide-eyed.

“Really?!” Ashley exclaimed, and Suzu nodded.

“I’ve always wanted to break a witch’s curse, but they don’t come by often.” Suzu said. “This is the perfect opportunity for both of us.” She nodded. “So how about it?” Suzu held out a hand. Ashley nodded and shook it. “I’ll head out then. You now have my number, so tell me what kind of clothes you want, and I’ll make them for you. Now then, if you don’t mind...” Suzu headed for the door, but Ashley grabbed her arm.

“At least take some clothes with you, I don’t want people to get the wrong idea.” Ashley insisted. Suzu actually frowned a little, but nodded silently. Ashley stripped down and handed her old clothes over. Suzu apprehensively accepted them, and put them on. They were a little big on the petite girl, but it was fine enough. Suzu continued frowning, but bid the girl farewell and left, once again causing whispers among her dorm mates. Ashley closed the door, and flopped back down, once again clad in Suzu’s clothes.

Well, what now? She still had all day, though she wasn’t quite sure what to do...
