Susan's atonement

Susan's P.O.V.

"Okay, Susan, so here is my plan." Gina told me. "Marcie and Lindsey are having me chose my own humiliations. For now, we need to play along. Marcie wanted me to pick my nose for 30 seconds."

"That doesn't seem so bad." I told her.

"But Lindsey argued that it wasn't humiliating enough and talked Marcie into having me piss myself. I'm gonna need you do something to mask it."

"I could strip naked." I offered. "That's something that already happened."

"I am sorry for it."

Now, I did not fully trust Gina, she had betrayed me before. But because Marcie had abandoned me, I didn't have any choice but to work with her.

I got home to my mom and sisters watching the TV. The funny thing is that my mom was also named Marcie. Marcie Underwood. The two didn't just have the same name. They both considered me a useless moron.

The instant I got home, my mom slapped me across the face.

"You're late!" she screamed.

"I'm sorry, mommy." I whimpered. "Gina n-"

She began to take off her belt.

"Oh, you mean the daughter I wish I had?"

Sometimes I wonder if Marcie and I were switched at birth. I began to do my chores which was basically everything while my mom watched videos of her high school glory days. Her past self was disturbingly similar to how she is now.

My sisters would hit me on the back with my mom's belt if I stopped for a sec or sometimes just for fun.

Afterwards, I cried in my room. I had no one. Nobody cared about me. I thought Gina did but she sold me out. I thought Marcie Storm was my friend but she threw me under the bus. I remembered her words.

“Do you really think, I could even feel a single ounce of forgiveness to the monster who mutilated me like this?”

But maybe I could earn her forgiveness by...

I opened my draw. It was the box cutter. Gina had me keep it to remind me what I did. But that same cutter might be how I atone. I looked in the mirror and removed my shirt and bra. I held the cutter to my breast.
