Surprised and wide-eyed

Ram and I walk out of the house and to the front gate. Once there, I open it for them and immediately get a message on my phone that a character has left the property. I confirm that I have allowed it and we walk to my car.

Hermoine's POV

From a window, Hermione watches them walk out of the gate. So it's possible. We can leave the property, she thinks to herself. Now I just have to figure out how this collar is connected to our host's phone.

James's POV

Arriving at my car, I open the door for Ram and help her inside, which isn't even that quick with the dress on. After she's completely inside, I close the door and get in too.

"What is that, Master?" Ram asks me as I have just fastened my seat belt. I look at her and she looks around the car.

I smile at her. "This is a car. It's a mode of transport like a carriage, only it goes much faster and we don't need horses." "Wow," Ram says and continues to look around.

I help her put on the seat belt. As I do so, I explain to her that it is there for her safety. Of course, it's not compulsory to strap your characters in, because you don't have to strap handbags or anything, but I see it more as not wanting them to get hurt.

Since RealDreams was founded and sells characters, a new item has been added to the traffic statistics. Dead characters. These are listed under property damage, and like car damage, are covered by the respective insurance companies. The most common cause of characters killed in traffic is not wearing their seatbelts and breaking their necks in giving blowjobs while driving.

Now that we are both buckled up, I start driving. "What... we are moving" Ram marvels and looks out the window. I have to stifle a grin at the sight. She sees the world as if through the eyes of a child.

We drive for about 20 minutes until we arrive at a large mall. I park the car in a car park and we get out. "There are a lot of these cars here," Ram says, looking around. "Yes, many of them are even better. I haven't got around to buying a new car yet, unfortunately. But this is definitely going on my list."

"Where do we start, Master?" asks Ram as we walk down the staircase. "I think we start with the clothes. There are many different shops where we can buy clothes" I explain to her as we reach the ground floor. I open a door and we are standing in the mall.

Ram's POV

Amazed, Ram looks around. "Wow, this is a palace" she says out and looks left and right at the shops. People are walking everywhere, some with bags, some without. Some are wearing strange clothes, but many are wearing things that look similar to her Master's.

"Yes, this must be hard for you at first" she hear her Master's voice next to her and she turn to him. She looks into his eyes and nod.

"Come with me. Stay close to me." Then he starts walking. She stays close to him and looks at the shops and the people coming towards them.

After a short time, She notices more and more characters. She can easily recognise them by their unusual clothes. "Master, there are many characters walking around here, aren't there?" Ram asks her Master. "Yes, there are. This is a good place to buy clothes for characters. Both clothes from my world and clothes from other worlds."

He points to a shop on our right. "What kind of shop is that?" She asks. "That's a shop that sells outfits from popular anime. I'm sure they'll have maid outfits from you and Rem. Shall we go in?" Ram nods and they go into the shop.

James's POV

As Ram and I enter the shop we are already greeted by a maid. "Good morning sir, would you like to look around or are you looking for something in particular?" asks Tohru the maid from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.

Ram looks at Tohru with wide eyes. The latter looks briefly at Ram and smiles at her. "Yes, we are looking for a another maid outfit for Ram here" I say to Tohru. "Of course, come with me" she says and walks ahead.

"Master, who is she?" Ram asks me quietly. "A maid from another anime. Her name is Tohru and she's a dragon." She looks at Tohru and sticks her chest out a little. "She's not as good a maid as me, though, is she?"

I grin a little. "No, you're the best" I say quietly to her and stroke Ram's head. The latter blushes a little and looks away. "We're here" Thoru says and we stand in front of a display of Re:Zero clothing.

"Wow, here's even Emilia's dress" Ram says in amazement and examines it. "Do you like it? Shall I buy it for you?" Ram immediately lets it go. "No, it's far too pretty for me. Besides, I can't, it's Emilia's after all."

"I take it Ram hasn't been here that long?" asks Tohru, looking over at her. "No, not that long. That's why I want to buy her a new maid outfit, so she can wash this too." "Alright. Does she still have her normal measurements or is it altered by mods or some other way?" "Ram should still have the same measurements. Ram, can you hand me the sheet please?"

Ram takes out the piece of paper with the measurements and hands it to me. "She has measurements 73,53,75 and bra size B" I say quietly to Tohru and out of the corner of my eye I see Ram blush. "Those should be her normal measurements. Then we would have one of her outfits ready" Tohru takes one of the maid outfits and holds it out to her.

Ram looks at her and then at me. "Don't you want to try it on?" I ask her "Oh um gladly, but I can't take my clothes off here." 'We have some changing rooms back here' Tohru says, taking Ram and me to the changing rooms. "You can change here."
