Surprise Her Now!

"Freeze, ya varmint! Drop the weapon" The sheriff yelled, popping up from her hiding spot with her rifle aimed straight at the Kangeroo. Instantly Roxxie froze, taken completely by surprise. She growled and gritted her teeth, but with the sheriff flanking her and no other options, dropped the gun and raised her hands.

"Ah've got ya this time, Rox. No escape."

Sure enough, it was a textbook arrest. The stagecoach crew tied up Roxxie's horse while Texas dealt with the rotten roo herself, cuffing her before she had the chance to fight back.

Within the hour, Texas had dragged Roxxie back to town and straight to the sheriff's office, wanting to get Roxxie behind bars as soon as possible. However, she froze as she entered the office, as sitting behind the desk was none other than the mayor herself. The lithe lynx looked up at the scene in front of her and sighed.

"Really, Roxxie? I give you the simplest of tasks, and yet here we are... And as always, I have to deal with the cleanup." She said calmly, while Roxxie growled angrily at her failure. The lynx looked at Texas and smiled. "Still, if we must clean things up, I suppose it pays to finally get rid of ALL the trash... this has been a long time coming, sheriff."

Texas's hand instantly flew to her gun, but as she did so, a large shadow approached behind her, one of the mayor's thugs slugging her over the back of the head. The weasel yelped and crumpled to the ground, and the large rhinoceros thug instantly sat heavily on her back, pinning her down. The mayor smirked.

"Now, what to do with you..."
