Miera's eyes fly open and a guttural moan escapes her lips as you push all the way up to her cervix, tendrils exploring every part of her depths. Ah, there we are. Have a pleasant nap? Miera looks almost on the verge of tears but she still manages to spit at you, "Release me you mistake!" You raise a tendril to your "chest" in mock offense, Excuse me, I had to work hard to get this far and I think I deserve to be rewarded. With the hand that life dealt me it's a miracle I made it out of that accursed canyon at all, is it so much to ask that you treat me with respect? Your voice had risen almost to a bellow and you found yourself actually getting angry. Surprisingly, Miera seemed to be trying to focus on your words, or at least glare you to ****, but your thrusts had gotten more forceful as you vented your pent up rage and her gaze was unsteady. Nevertheless, she gave an out of breath laugh in response to your outburst, "Did I-Ah!-Strike a-Ah!-a nerve? Can't beAAr to hear the-Ngh-truth?!"

She's obviously trying to rile you up and to your chagrin, in spite of her **** gasping, its working. She carries on, insulting your origins and insignificance, and you tune her out as you take a step back. Emotions clouded judgement, you needed to be fully clued in to your surroundings if you wanted to stay in control. Though now that you think of it you weren't sure what her game plan was. Distract you? You check the woods with your newly expanded senses... nope, nobody coming to her rescue. Try to get you mad enough to kill her? Not likely; she had enough health to be pretty durable and your anger just made you more determined to fuck her into submission. Not that she had to know that... maybe you could play the part, make it exciting for both of you.

As you are considering the best approach to deal with Miera, a twinge comes from your vines in the tunnel: someone is springing your trap! You cast a "glance" over the area. You can make out a half dozen figures in the gloom, from their general look you gage them to be decently leveled but it's difficult to tell. The spiders would definitely need your guidance and support for this fight. You can't split your attention between Miera and the newcomers, you're going to have to choose.
