Surprise! It's Ash!

"What's the matter Gary? Get too cocky and lose against Daisy?"

You're startled by Ash's sudden appearance, but quickly adapt, "Shouldn't you be crying into your mom's tits over your dead bulbasaur?" You straighten up and remove any indication of your fatigue.

"He's not dead!" yet.

You don't really care how his pokemon are doing, so you change the subject, "Fine, why'd you come to my house?"

"Not for you! I wanted to ask Daisy for a map."

You speak sternly to leave no room for argument. "She's sleeping, come back later."

"You're kidding! I'm supposed to just wait around for her to take a nap! I have adventuring to do!"

Thinking about it, Ash will probably sneak in once you leave. You'd rather he not find your sister like that. "Okay, just go grab one off the counter and leave a note. She'll be fine with it."

You watch Ash from the door as he goes about his business. He occasionally glances at the stairs as he writes his note. "Hurry up, I gotta lock up before I go."

Ash gets the picture, and makes no attempt on the stairs. He seems disappointed as he leaves, but it hardly matters to you. You lock the door and head out on your adventure.
