Sure why not.

The certainty that walking into the town is a mistake becomes clear as you hit the one hundred yard mark, figuratively, from the town. A rather large demon teleports right behind you and tries to snatch you up in his claws. A diving roll forward saves you but only for an instant, he is after you with ferocious clawing strikes at you limbs trying thus far just to get hold of you. “Fuck off!” You yell at him as you tuck and roll just out of reach.

“Succulent human meat.” He hisses like a snake. Swinging his spiked tail like a club that you are **** to block with a conjured blade. “Useless human, your little knife can’t hurt me.” He says with a hissing laugh, but you can’t help but notice a trickle of blood from the blade.

The sudden appearance of your blade also got him to jump away to plan his next ****, giving you an opening, you aim the pistol and let silver fly, emptying the cylinder into his huge chest in just a few seconds. The silver round cuts a path through the creature. He looks at the holes in shock for several seconds. His skin blackens as if on fire as he opens his mouth and mutters, “Magic silver.” His face carries a look of shock as he then hisses and bubbles becoming a pool of black sludge that then melts into the rocky ground. You catch a glint of something metal. Fishing it out you discover it is a small statue of a fish and it is rather heavy. “I think this is solid gold. What did he do, eat it?”

Turning around as you reload you see two men or beasts in heavy armor with visors over their faces. “Town guard ma'am, we saw the whole fight. Sorry we didn't help, but town rules we don't fight demons outside of the city walls.”

“Wait so this is like a real human city?”

“Yes, all who stand against the demon horde are welcome in our ladies city. This is an outpost on the border between the prime and the abyss.”

“Sweet. Thanks.” You say with a cute grin. “Any way you could point me to somewhere I can get a pair of shoes, my feet are killing me.” Your stomach rumbling you add, “And a big plate of food.”

“Follow us.” He leads you in, takes you to a nice looking inn and pays the man in charge a few gold, “This is for her room and food for the next week.” Turning to you he says, “A reward for slaying the demon.”

“Thank you very much.”

You eagerly chomp down the meat, cheese, and bread. Half way through the meal a middle aged man, a bit stocky but seems strong walks in and presents you a box. “Another little gift.” He says with a smile. “I suggest you try them on after your bath.”

Your eyes beam with excitement, “No way shoes?” You ask with a squeak. He nods and you yank open the box to reveal a sexy pair of soft leather knee high boots with about a 5” blocky heel that has about a 1 1/2” platform and a zipper to ease pulling them on. Under the boots in the box are a pair of light brown tights as well. “So soft.” You say rubbing the tights. Last under these you find a small ruffled white blouse as well. “Thank you so much.” Then with a wink you add, “You should come back later so I can model them for you.”

He smiles, “Back to work for me sorry.” Then heads out. Grabbing your new stuff you head to your room to try it on.
