Sure, there's no need to make a "fuzz" about it

"Fair enough, Teddie. I have to admit, I have been curious to learn if there was any sort of intelligent design behind your unique appearance. Perhaps dressing like you-- for a small while-- will yield new insights into that mystery," Naoto finally agreed, although she felt like she was saying all of this just to justify it to herself.

'"Intelligent design?' I guess you'd have to be pretty genius to come up with such a loveable face as mine, wouldn't you?" Teddie asked, returning a cute smile with pink cheeks. Every now and then, he seemed to find the right face to look cute instead of just annoying. "But you've got a pretty good look too, Naoto-chan! Maybe while you're busy with this, I'll try on your skinny pants~"

That joke caused Naoto to frown awkwardly for multiple reasons. For one thing: she didn't like anyone commenting on her looks, positively or otherwise. Call it bashfulness or call it modesty, but whatever the case, she preferred not to be judged by that metric. Secondly: her detective skills managed to pick out an important detail from his previous statement. "Just a moment. You said you'd try on my pants while I'm wearing the suit... is that to say I won't be wearing my pants underneath the suit?"

"Of course not, silly! I make it look easy, but the truth is, when you're in that suit, the heat's gonna be un-bear-able!" Teddie laughed it off, but it sounded pretty serious. After all, despite the moist fog that lingered around town at all times, it was the middle of summer and unless there was rain, things didn't tend to cool down. "I know that was a good joke just now, but heat stroke is no joke! You wear an awful lot of clothes at the best of times. This is one situation where you ought to dress down!"

As if in response to all of the talk about the heat, Naoto felt her own face heating up. Wearing the bear suit was one thing... but wearing just her underclothes underneath would be a different situation entirely. It... honestly sounded a little kinky, meeting people she knew while dressed as Teddie on the outside, but with a (rather busty) Naoto Shirogane on the inside, clad in nothing but her underwear. "Teddie, I'd like to reconsider accepting this proposition. Perhaps there is another way that I could get into your head space... one that's not quite so literal."

The bear looked shocked, then began to kick his foot sadly. "Are you sure? I was beary happy when you agreed to do it, Naoto-chan. I was thinking: nobody else is ever this nice to poor ol' Teddie..."

The guilt trip, intentional or otherwise, worked; Naoto gulped, then shook her hands apologetically. "W-Wait, forgive me! You're right: your situation is unique and worthy of study. I'll... wear the bear costume."

Moments later, Yosuke's worst nightmare came to pass: two identical Teddies stepped out from the Junes' employee's locker room together. The more spirited of the two with the more animated face grinned from ear to ear, then slapped the other on the back; it was all the bear-suited girl could do to avoid falling over. If she fell in this costume, with its odd, top-like center of gravity... she might never get back up. "You're such a good pal, Naoto-chan! I'm never gonna fur-get this generosity; I swear it on my pretty blue pelt!"

Naoto reflected that, oddly, she herself was in a position to swear things on her own pretty blue pelt too, if she wanted. She didn't. "Teddie... I'm already gaining new insights. Your poise in battle is incredible. I-I simply can't believe that you dodge enemy attacks while moving like this," the detective complimented her friend with great effort, struggling to get one foot to go in front of the other in the odd waddle the suit **** her into.

"Aaaaw, that's too sweet of you to say! But I move waaaay different than that! It's a cuter waddle! You'll get used to it!" Teddie giggled, using his paws to help straighten Naoto up before she tumbled over.

The detective girl flinched instinctively at the touch, drawing up both hands in a stance that looked amusingly something like karate. The reason? Underneath the suit, she was clad just in her underwear, white and frilly with tiny, girlish blue bows just above the snaps. While her ordinarily outfit hid her feminine assets pretty well, her underwear couldn't; if for any reason she fell out of the awkward suit, the town's (admittedly sparse) population would be looking at a surprisingly huge rack, shapely bear legs, and pleasant, plump thighs. She was 100% lady underneath that dubious 100% fur, in other words. Therefore, when Teddie touched her, even over the suit, she couldn't help but imagine someone touching her while she walked around town in her bra and panties. "Teddie... I can't help but notice that you wear full pants and a long-sleeved shirt underneath your suit. W-Would it not be possible for me to do the same?" she questioned in a quiet whisper.

"No, I don't think so. The me in there doesn't seem bothered by it, but you'd roast! Anyway, now isn't the time to worry about stuff like that. Now's the time to practice your growl, which is loved by children and even more so by the ladies! Say it with me: Kumaaaaa~" Teddie laughed cheerfully, spinning on one leg before coming to rest in a cute pose.

"Ku... Kumaaaaa-aaah-waaaaaah!" Naoto shouted frantically, trying to spin once, then ending up rotating dangerously on one foot. It was all over if she spilled out of that costume.

Thankfully, Teddie helped steady her with his hands again. "Good energy, but I think we oughta stick with more basic movements fur a while. We can move on to the advanced course later, Naoto-chan!"

Naoto could feel her blue eyes spinning behind the mask of the Teddie suit. She didn't think she was going to survive until the advanced course... Either she was going to have that heat stroke Teddie alluded to earlier or she was going to fall over, slip out of the suit, and then die of embarrassment. Just as she was beginning to feel safe with her walking practice, the situation developed in a new, uncertain way.

"Look, look! Someone's coming! Try tending to the customer and give it your best Teddie charm!" the genuine article encouraged his stunt double, pushing her lightly on the back to propel her towards a Junes customer.
