Support mission

The squad was assigned to support another squadron. They were in a very dangerous and highly classified mission, when contact was lost. In less than an hour after the loss of contact, Samora and her squad were given a quick debriefing; only vital detail about the importance of the mission, and then sent out.

The mission took place in a jungle region, which made fighting the rapi very difficult, but they were told the mission was very important. There were reports of ruins in the jungle, and the high command had classified information that they held vital information, and possibly a special anti-rapi weapon that could change their fortunes.

The objectives are to locate the missing squad, find the reason for the loss of communication, and if necessary, rescue the squad and help them complete their mission. The mission also has particular importance for Samora, as a close friend of hers, Madia, was the squad's leader. They are very close after meeting during training, and she became even more decided to complete the mission when she learned it was her squad.

While there are some basic roles, Madia's squad is composed slightly differently than Samora's squad. They of course had a leader, a medic and an engineer, but instead of a sniper and a heavy, they have a trap specialist and a vehicle specialist, who is deployed with military vehicles to support her squadmates. The medic is Allaria, the engineer is Lauren, the trap specialist is Kira and the vehicle specialist is Fiona.

The team was quickly deployed to the location. The heavy vegetation meant they would have to transverse a long way to the location of the squad’s last communication. Nerra voiced concerns over the vegetation, but Samora was decided to complete the mission, so they went forward into the jungle. Nerra felt uneasy as the transport flied away, feeling that any fight in this environment would be a nightmare, and was worried about the lack of vantage points with clear views for her to perch on, but Samora wouldn't budge, so she had to carry on, as she was her superior.
