Superman's Costume Room.

Bruce entered a room with large, glass display cases on each wall with mannequins inside. One wall was lined with all of Superman’s costumes from over the years, going from left to right, oldest to newest with the dates they were each created on a plaque underneath. She felt a small tinge of nostalgia seeing the homemade costume with the symbol comprised of a red S and the black background. Martha Kent stitched that one together herself. All the way to the modern costume that Clark was wearing in that moment.

On the other side, there were replicas of the costumes of all his enemies on display as trophies. There was a few variants of Lex Luthor’s green suit and the blue power armor suit he built to look like Superman’s costume. Then there was Bizzaro’s, Zod’s, Livewire’s and Silver Banshee’s costumes among others filling up the villain display case.

She admired her friend’s trophies. They reminded her of a similar setup she had back at the Batcave.

As she looked through the glass, she partially saw her reflection. She brought her hand to her face, pressing her soft palm against the smooth milky skin of her cheek. Gone was her five o’clock shadow and her finely sculpted Wayne jawline. Her short dark hair replaced by long platinum blonde locks. Bruce had seen her fair share of beautiful women but this Kara girl, she sure was something. Her new reflection was the opposite of who she was on the inside in every conceivable way. It just drove the point home that much more that she needed to become her true self again and reverse what the Kryptonian ship did to her.

The idea that Krypton had such advanced technology that they could alter someone’s genetics down the their DNA and make them someone completely different against their will was unsettling.

“Welcome, Kara Zor-El.”

At the far end of the room there was a futuristic terminal. An automated voice recognized her as Clark’s cousin.

“Hello…?”

She responded in her firm authoritative voice that she usually spoke in, though now it came off as more like a girl trying to sound like a man.

“Identity verified. Please stand by! System activating!”
