Supergirl

Everyone knew Superman. The greatest hero of all time. The strongest, fastest, and greatest hero on Earth. There was only one person who could claim to be an equal to Superman, and that was his cousin Supergirl.

Kara wasn't as popular as her cousin, sometimes mistaken for him as she flew around Metropolis. She flew over the skyscrapers and looked down on the town, before something seemed to ring in her ear. Was it trouble? Was something wrong? Where did the ringing come from? She looked around, but she couldn't even tell where it was coming from. It sounded like it was coming from everywhere, yet nowhere at the same time. Was it all in her head?

Kara felt dizzy, like she could drop to the ground. The suit she was wearing, strong tough and impervious to bullets, started to tear like it was mere cotton. Every part of her body seemed to be throbbing, pulsating and rippling like something was trying to burst out of it. She wrapped her hands around her waist, attempting to hold it in, but it ended up bursting all out in an instant.

But even her strength couldn't hold it back, and Kara burst into duplicates. Her life wouldn't be the same from then on.
