Supergirl Addresses the crowd: Good Ending

As Lord went limp Kara dropped him, and then she looked all around her. The crowd looked as though they didn’t know how to react to what they had just seen, and if a pin was dropped it most certainly could have been heard. Her arms at her side, Kara looked around at the different people and the cameras that were still on her. Lord was defeated, but what he had done to her was public, and it was most certainly globally known at this point.

“Think what ever you will of me,” Kara began to say, “some of you will be cruel, some of you will take pleasure at the suffering I endured at the hands of this creep, and others hopefully will show sympathy.”

Kara extended her arms out and spun around so everyone could see all of her as she made her point, “I stand before the entire world completely exposed, with my weakest moment in my life broadcast and made public. But you know what happened?”

Kara’s hands returned to her side, and she continued looking around the crowd, “I won. I was not broken. Nothing any of you will say or do can effect me, so go ahead and say or do what you want, but I will remain your hero...” Kara began to float and rise feet by feet, “and I always will!” Kara then flew up into the sky as the police approached and grabbed Lord, cuffing the unconscious billionaire.

Meanwhile Kara flew up and up, kicking off her boots at some point on the way up, till finally she was just outside earth’s atmosphere. Kara then let herself float with her arms spread out, now completely nude as her completely exposed skin absorbed the rays of earth’s yellow sun...

The world would be different for her now, but if this could not break her, than nothing will. Nothing ever could.
