Jail wasn't fun, but he needed to be there to pay for his crimes. Everything he had done was horrible and he needed to suffer for it. "Are you sure about that?" Kamoshida turned his head around, the sudden shock of a feminine voice bringing him out of his self-loathing.

"Who's there?" He yelled back, his voice quaking in fear.

"Look at you! You used to be king and now you're here writhing in fear and pity!" She sighed, shaking her head, though he could not see her. "Let's restore those so-called distorted desires of yours, shall we?"

Suddenly, Kamoshida felt a rush of adrenaline as his memories were filled with a world not his own. He saw the Phantom Thieves as they stole his treasure and desires. He knew who they were... They unmasked in front of him. How could he have forgotten? How did he never know about this? "Are you back with me? Good. Now, normally, I don't interfere this much, but I can tell you're going to be fun to play with. So, here's the deal: I'll help you just this once and get you out of here and give you something to help you on your way. After that, you're on your own.

Kamoshida had been a free man for a few days now. He wasn't sure how the voice had done it, but that very next day, he had been released from prison with all charges against him dropped. That wasn't his only prize, though. He got a book out of it. At first, he ignored it, but something about it was drawing him in.
