Who does Sue Storm tell about Valeria von Doom's photoshoot?

Sue Storm Tells Her Friends The Truth

Chapter 4 by Zeebop Zeebop

"Time-traveling daughter from an alternate future where I married a heroic Doctor Doom after Reed's death," Sue Storm said, as concisely as possible.

There was a uniform groan around the table. Jennifer Walters, the She-Hulk, was in a grey pinstripe business suit with purple highlights. Janet van Dyne, the Wasp, wore her costume, a skin-tight body stocking with small armor plates that looked vaguely insectoid. Jessica Jones was in civilian clothes, jeans and a red jacket; Sue had arranged babysitting for her daughter so that she could attend this meeting.

They all looked at the photos. They all understood the stakes. Sue Storm was determined not to hide anything from her friends.

But Jessica had to ask questions.

"Why?" she said. "If what you're saying is true, she's of legal age to do nude modeling—and a whole lot else."

"Is she even your real daughter? I thought Valeria was still, like ten," Jennifer chimed in.

"In this reality, at this time," Sue said with a sigh. "Honestly, with all the universal resets, I'm not sure how or why she's back. But I know her, she's mine, and this is—look, Jen, you've got a time-traveling niece, don't you? Wouldn't you be concerned if she suddenly started doing Gammazon porn?"

She-Hulk looked contemplative for a moment, then pinched the bridge of her green nose.

"Concerned, yes. That's the word," Jen said.

"And Jan, you've got—I mean—Hank has—" Sue wasn't sure where to go with that.

"A complicated extended family," the Wasp said, "Yes, I get it."

"Jessica—" Sue Storm considered. "I'll pay you. Enough to set up a college fund."

Jessica Jones rolled her eyes. "Fine. But if she's a mutant or whatever, why can't we just use Cerebro to find her?"

"Because of Valeria. My Valeria. The young one. Apparently, having two chronal duplicates in the same timeline screws up a lot of the normal ways to go about this," Sue said. "So we're down to real detective work, legal machinations, and whatever Jan can pull out of the Dark Web."

"Alright," Jessica said, at last. "But if we find her, you realize there's no guarantee she'll want to stop, right? We can't force her to stop taking off her clothes for money."

"I'll deal with that," the Invisible Woman promised. "After we find her. After all, we don't know if she's even doing this willingly."

In her heart, Sue Storm hoped that her time-traveling teenage daughter was being forced into this. Because the alternative was...unthinkable.
