Chapter 13 by Zeebop Zeebop

What does Dr. Stone suggest to Sue Storm?

Sue Should Give Nairobi A Gift

Sue Storm thought long and hard about Dr. Stone's suggestion. It was always tricky, giving a gift. It wasn't a matter of price, except when it was; it was a matter of how well you knew the person. She had to think back to everything she new about Nairobi. The child of immigrants. A university student. She liked women. What else that the Black woman liked, Sue had no idea.

Perhaps it wasn't about what Nairobi likes, Sue thought. But what I can give her. Something no one else could.

The Negative Zone diamonds were, to Reed Richards, little more than mineral samples. They looked like perfectly brilliant crystals that darkened to absolute black in the center. The gold and copper wire came from the lab's stores. The unstable molecule loom accepted these as raw materials into a necklace unlike any on this world.

The young Black woman's eyes widened as she accepted the gift. She put it on, immediately, the diamond-heavy pendant hung on her breastbone. Sue wanted to explain the elements that went into it, but Nairobi silenced her by pulling at the cord that cinched the Invisible Woman's robe tight. It fell to the floor, to reveal Sue's naked body.

"Okay, sugar mama," Nairobi said with a smile. Her dark eyes danced as she ran an appreciative gaze over the white woman's body. "Time to make you feel good."

The Invisible Woman did as she was told. A warm hand cupped her labia—and then, for the first time, Nairobi's head bent down to seize on one of Sue's nipples. The blonde gasped at the contact, the suction, the hot lips that pulled on her sensitive nipple as her fingers worked on Sue's labia.

"I guess you could say that the gift was well-received," Dr. Stone said, later, when Sue had finished recounting the incident.

"I don't think that was part of the standard massage services," the Invisible Woman said. "I feel...a bit conflicted about that. It doesn't feel like just a professional relationship anymore."

"Of course not," Dr. Stone said. Her gaze was penetrating through her glasses. "Is your relationship with your hairdresser strictly business? While the start of the relationship might have been an exchange of money for services, there is always a social aspect which can grow and develop over time."

"I suppose you're right," Sue said with a sigh. "I don't know how to tell Reed, though."

"Why tell him anything?" Dr. Stone said. "It's not his business, is it? Do you tell him about all the gossip after your hair appointment? Or get his permission before changing your hairstyle?"

"Well...no," Sue admitted.

"So see how this relationship develops," Dr. Stone said, and for a moment an aura seemed to play about her golden hair, as the sunlight caught the psychiatrist's hair in a particular way, like a gravitational lens effect. "Who knows how Nairobi feels about you? Just see where it takes you both."

How does Nairobi feel about Sue Storm?
