Success?

The foliage and terrain are no longer a problem, as the training is clearly paying off, so you easily flank the prey, keeping the pace despite its quick change of direction from time to time.

When you think they've had enough, you join the hunt from their left and scare the poor animals into running faster. You didn't have the chance to see what they were actually hunting, but you almost stop when you see a doe with a little fawn running after her.

"Stop!" you yell, making them stop. "I'm not killing a mother and her baby!"

"Oh..." they sound disappointed and look down, the excitement from the hunt clearly waning.

"It's not your fault, it's not like there is a rule against it, just consider me weird... Let's go find the others." You say as you go searching for Nicole, probably your best bet for finding the right thing. As they follow closely behind, you can feel that the atmosphere is not as good as before, but there is not much you can do about it at this point. You might be a werewolf, but killing a mother in front of her baby is not something you can do yet, especially when there are other options available.

You soon find Nicole with Mark and two others playing with a buck, so without wasting any more time, you jump on his back pulling it to the ground where you sink your teeth in its neck. Just as before, you wait until it stops moving and let it fall on the floor.

"Where's Jenny?" you ask Nicole.

"With Leyla, I think."

"Do you think there's enough meat for everyone?"

"It should be... It's pretty big."

"Well, call them here then" you say, and Nicole immediately makes a small howl, loud enough for your group to hear but not enough for the others to hear. Jenny, Leyla and the others arrive soon, and you start offering pieces to everyone, starting with Jenny.

Since last time she made it clear that she doesn't like it, you offer a smaller piece. It doesn't really matter, because there are other ways to help her control her inner beast. She accepts and starts chewing while you continue giving away chunks from the kill. Everyone accepts and starts eating together with Jenny.

Turns out there is more than enough for everyone, even as they are quite excited about having to eat it and end up eating everything you give them. You can't really tell if everyone is in disagreement with Jenny about the taste or if they are just happy that they will have better control of their body now, but you are happy that they seem pleased with the end result. Some even ask for seconds as they see there are leftovers.

While there was a mishap with the first team, the hunt ended well, and while you are sure people will talk, you don't regret anything. With time and practice, you've gotten better at controlling your inner wolf so you no longer need to be a slave to the wild emotions of a beast.

Once everyone has had enough, you click the tracker and prepare to leave. "I'd like to thank you all for joining me in the hunt, I hope you had a good time." you say as you get up. "I see some of you are already restless, so everyone is free to do what they want."

The hunt doesn't just create stronger bonds between its members, but also between the mates. For those without experience, it's hard to control the urge to play with their partner, and since most of your group consists of members who haven't experienced this in the past, they are all eager to join their partner at home, or just separate from the group to have some privacy.
