The less, the better

After she tapped the icon the other two disappeared and a description of sorts appeared. She was still extremely confused, what exactly was the point of this game? She tapped the screen again and the image disappeared, only to be replaced by a count down timer. She tried exiting the app and it worked. Before she could investigate further she heard her boss's voice getting closer. She quickly slid her phone into her purse and turned back to her computer.

"Ah Grace, how's it going?" He didn't wait for a reply, "I need 6 copies of each of these documents. Drop them on my desk when you are done. Thanks." He set down a huge bundle of papers and left without another word. Grace got up and got to work, it might not be much but she was determined to do a good job. After the copies he had her do a coffee run, then some more copies. She ended up being busy enough that she forgot all about the app for the rest of the day.

By the time she got home she was exhausted. She went straight to her bedroom to get changed into something more casual. Typically she'd wear sweatpants and a cozy sweater around her apartment but for whatever reason she decided that would be too much. She picked out a pair of shorts and a crop top and went to go make herself some dinner. She lived alone and didn't spend much time socializing with people her own age. Once her food was done she sat on the couch to watch tv until it was time for bed.

Without thinking too much of it she made another unusual wardrobe change. She owned a fairly racy nightie that she never, ever wore. She'd thought it looked so pretty and bought it on a whim, but it barely covered her butt and her boobs were barely contained by it at all so she never had the courage to wear it, even alone in her own home. That night she was just feeling it, it felt really good to wear something sexy. She went to sleep happy, still not concerned about the mysterious game on her phone.

The next morning she got ready for work, wearing her typical skirt and blouse. Looking at herself in the mirror she thought it was a bit much after all. Her skirt went down below her knees which looked professional, but it was rather hot wasn't it? She quickly changed into another skirt, this was just a few inches shorter. There, that's better. She grabbed her purse and headed off to work.

Once again her day was filled with lots of boredom and phone scrolling, interrupted only by blitz's of photocopying. It was during one of these boring periods she suddenly recalled the mystery game. She opened it up and saw the timer still counting down, just 10 minutes left. She found herself suddenly anticipating it. What would happen? Would it lock her phone out again? Would she have to pick another weird symbol?

Yes and yes it turns out. When the timer expired three new images popped up and she was unable to do anything until she picked one.

Just like last time she had no idea what these images were supposed to represent. This game was so weird, it wasn't even fun. Was it some sort of virus? It didn't make any sense to her. She decided just to pick one, see what happens.
