Strange "costume" of leather and chain

One feminine mannequin featured an alluring web of steel chains attached to leather bands at the throat, biceps, and thighs.

The chains joined to the collar by O-rings at three points—the front center and either side of the neck—and formed a sort of harness around the chest. More O-rings joined lengths of chains all over the body to create an intricate sort of body cage.

Each arm featured a leather band on the bicep, with a pair of chains secured to it as well. Hanging below the body was a few more lengths of chain and two more bands for the thighs. They looked a bit like garters. Joined to two chains, a shiny steel object hung near the back that John could only assume was intended to go inside the wearer's ass, but it didn't look like any butt plug he'd ever seen.

The whole thing looked kinky and sexy, but it clearly wouldn't cover anything. If not for the butt plug, John would have assumed it would be worn over a catsuit or something. But more likely it was an eye-catching piece beneath to be worn beneath other clothing.

Looking closer, he realized that all the chains were fused shut, with no clasps or releases, and the leather bands were solid as well. Each was a single piece of leather in the shape of a loop. No way to open or close any of it that he could see. The mannequin had likely been stuffed inside and awkwardly put together to display it.

It was neat, but if a real person couldn't wear it, what was the point?

He extended a finger to explore the leather and as soon as he made contact with it, the whole thing lunged at him.

There was no other way to describe it: the costume—if it could be called that—flee off of the mannequin and slammed into him. He threw up his arms to defend himself but it coiled around him in an instant and dove down the front of his shirt.

It latched onto his body, encircling and encasing him exactly as it had the mannequin, but that was only the beginning of the magical effects.
